The plant is lanky with big leaves. It's as tall as an average man from Denmark (6'2). The trunk is thin, about the thickness of a finger, and smooth. Starting about half way up, ten branches, or so, shoot out from the tree. Each is the length of an arm of a Danish man. The branches are like long narrow twigs.
A few leaves wave from each branch. These leaves give the tree an awkward lanky feel. They look like flapjacks - and make all the flapping noise. The leaves are also flat, dry and slightly heart shaped. There's a couple dozen of these leaves on the tree.
